Hey Adrian,

I have been overweight all my life and now that I am 21 I think it is time for me to really lose weight. I have tried diet plans in the past and they do not work for me at all. I have even tried gyms and they don't seem to help either and I have tried the home exercise videos. I am around 270. I would just like a weight loss plan that will work. I know what type of foods to eat and how long to exercise but... I don't know all I lose is 5-10lbs then gain it back. What should I do????

Im a 22 yr old 5'6 female and I weigh 220 pounds. REcently I signed up for my community gym and I have been trying to go at least 30mins/3days a week on the eliptical machine. My goal is to get down in the 160s-150s range by dec/jan. do you think its possible? what should I do to make it posible? Also i am pear shaped, but now i have a lot more abdominal fat. i am so depressed, all i want to do is get a little more self-confidence. Please help me! Thank you!

Hi adrian, im 14 years old, 5'5, and i weigh 207.6 pounds. I'm really hoping to lose weight. especially in my arms, legs and stomach, (i like my butt.) my goal is to reach 120-110 in the next year. I'm in the middle of vacation now and school (high school for me ^_^) starts back up august 23rd. Im on a diet right now that my friend's grandmother did to lose weight. I eat one egg in the morning, a salad for lunch, and a suitable serving of anything for dinner. no desserts, no snacks, no soda, and i have to cut down on bread. She said her grandma lost a healthy 5-10 pounds a week and kept it off for the past 10 years. Now im just looking to do exercise, of which i despise and may not have time for when school starts. Is there an easy plan that i can do to help me reach my goal?

I'm 17-18 male. Currently weigh about 225 lbs. and 5ft 8inches, I am sporty. I have good skills but my weight is holding me back, and i need to improve my fitness. I think my weight has mostly to do with my nutrition because i went on an exchange program and lost 30 lbs a while ago, but i put the weight back on plus more when i came back. i did do a bit more working out on exchange, but not too much more than before.

I'm vegeterian,but i eat eggs. my diet is mostly soya products which are protein. i have visited a dietician, but i think your advice may help me more. i only eat wholewheat bread and drink mostly water. i think my fat percentage from the tests done is about 27-30%.

i want your advice to help me get a workout program to lose the first 20 to 30 lbs off fast and then working on reaching about 11-15% body fat. if you could also offer an advice on my nutrition it would be great. my goal is to have visible progress in the next 2-3 months..

Hey Adrian, I'm really a big fan of your website, I'm 30 yrs, 6 ft, 206lb. i have to be in a great shape by jan 2011, since i will be in cancun, mexico for 6 month and i wanaa look great on the beach hehhehe. i do 45 minute aerobic , 5 times a week, and some abs routine, would kindly advise the fastest way to get my goal.

Hi,
I am 47 years old 5'3" 184 lbs small frame. I'd lite to get down to 130lbs, but most importantly I want flat abs but have a bad back and cannot do crunches nor situps. What tips do you have for someone like me. Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I have been losing weight pretty consistently for about 4 months now. The last month and a half I have only lost 3 pounds, I am training for a marathon so I am running almost every day with strength training on the days that I am not running. I am not sure why I am not losing weight while training and it is getting very frusturating. Can you please let me know any tips while going through this process. Thank you.

i am 5'7 200 pounds i want to lose 30 pounds by august 11th i have been working out everyday for 3 weeks and watching what i eat. its hard for me to find time to eat 4 times a day with me working 2 jobs. is there another plan i can fallow.... my husband just keft for basic training and i want to lose the weight before he returns

Hi Adrian,

I am 5' 3" and my current weight 206 lbs. My goal weight is to be 130-135 lbs.

I like going to the YMCA and run/walk and do circuit training. However in the 12 week of going I have only lost 8 lbs. My desire is to follow a good meal plan w/work out plan combine with a diet pill that will tone musle in thieghs, butt, hipps, flatten stomach, breast, and arms.

as you read I have a long journey but I want to do it in three to five months. I hate the way I look and I am ready to dedicate my self to change. I am ready to do this for me since I do everthing for everyone else now it is time to take care of me. This will definate improve my sefl confidence!

I went on these pills for my migraines that made me gain weight because it slowed down my metabolism. I went from 135 to 160 in about 5 months. I now am going off the pills because of that, but would like to get down to a goal weight of 125. I am 5'5. Right now I am 155 I started 3 weeks ago(dieting) and have lost 5 pounds. Im on a strict diet, but Im not sure what kind of workout to do to burn the most fat. Please help. I wanna lose around 10 pounds per month.

Hello Mr Bryant, i have been trying to get pregnant for 7 years and one of the reasons is that i am obese. I was 232 but now am 215 and stuck. I still go the gym but am not loosing as much as i should even though i vary my exercise. I need to loose 50lbs to increase my chances of becoming a mother and put a smile on my hubby's face.

I started my weight loss 2 n half months ago, i did tradmill excercise and healthy eating with in the calorie limit and lost 10 lbs in 1 month. After That I struggled to lose weight for quite long and found this site 2 weeks ago, now I been doing jumpin jacks interval training video 3 times a week and 3 times i just do normal cardio and keep sundays for resting so only do casual walk 2 times a day for 30 mins on sundays. I been following the diet 7 Things You Must Do To Lose 20 pounds in 3 - 4 Weeks. Is it fine to follow this diet till i achieve goal weight, doing this I have lost 8 lbs till now. As I read weight loss pleateau section and I dont want my weight loss to slow so what can i change to instead of jumping jacks for my interval training days (something thats simple as jumping jack). I also drink 80 ounces of water is that enough or do I need to drink more. You've done gr8 work with this website and thanks for putting in the time to make this for people like us

You havent exactly hit a plateau - you're just at a point now where you are only about 10 pounds overweight (and I know you want to lose more than that -and you will) but you need to understand...

your weight loss will be slower (maybe less than 1-2 pounds a week) since you are not overweight but you certainly speed that up with a plan like this

Your diet plan as of now is okay but you need to switch your workout over to the one like in the plan I showed you but most importantly - if you havent already...

you need to look at the 8 rules in this video here

Stay in touch if you need more help and be patient - fat loss is not going to be amazing fast for you anymore since you ae not extremly overweight

I'm another teenager, a girl, and I'm 15. With the way my body is built, I don't look that much overweight because it's only apparent in certain areas.I've got a medium frame. I'm 5'4" and weight 181. I'm looking for something realistic, but I'm willing to put as much of my free time *which is a lot* into making a noticeable difference on my body. What would be the best and healthiest way to get me down to at most 150 by...August 23-31?

I do have some stress problems because I constantly worry myself over grades, making deadlines, and trying to stay in a relatively healthy shape.

I wasn't too much worried about my size until a doctor said I shouldn't gain anymore weight which, when I think about it, actually kind of stung.

I'am 5'6 and weight 150 and I'm small frame. How much weight do I need to lose to the point where I dont look unhealthy and how much protein do I need to intake? Im trying to gain muscle and restore my bad fat to good fat. I have been eating very healthy and staying away from processed foods and take-out. It's not about your weight - it's about your bodyfat % so...

go here to check that and

also look at the height weight chart here but you need to focus more on body fat %

Ive gained about 55lbs in about 18months. Im 5'2 and about 200lbs. I can lose about 5 lbs in a week but i gain it right back. I really want to lose 20lbs by my birthday in may, but i want to get down to 135 overall, what work outs can i do and what foods can i eat to achieve this goal?

What workout would you recommend for someone like me? Im 14 and weights 176 pounds and im 5 feet 3 inches. Also, most of the workouts requires dumbbell. What can i substitute the dumb bell with? Something i can do on days that i do not have interval workouts. Thanks for the help.

any workout is fine and for dummbells

you can use empty milkjugs and fill them up with water, rocks or sand

I'm 5'5 and 190lbs...I'm 26yrs old and i've tried dieting before but nothing seems to work. I started exercising about a month ago 5 days a week and I still cant lose weight. I do admit that i'm under too much tress and i'm always worrying about every single thing. Can you suggest any diet plan i could follow? And Thank You.
