For women to get flat abs - you need to have between 14-to-20% bodyfat so YES...

I'm 5 6 and 149 pounds and in shape. I have a mesomorph body type. I'm curvy and have toned arms, legs and butt and I like how my weight is proportioned but I just can't seem to get flat abs. I have a thin layer of fat around my abs. Will the hula hoop work for me or do I have to lose weight, if so how much? When I workout I do 10 minutes of cardio and 30 - 45 mins of intense weight training on arms and legs. I usually skip out on the abs because I haven't been able to make any progress with it.

Oh my god, I just got back form holiday and everyone is saying I have put on weight. Around 3-5kg. eeek!
u know those pics i sent u a coupla months ago? well now Im slightly bigger around my waist and my love handles are so much bigger!

I now realise more than ever that I am apple shaped. I have a nice figure. Or so I heard from just yesterday. and this was after my weight gain. But that’s only cos I was wearing a top that cleverly disguised my big belly.

Im now a larger figure 8. if you get what I mean?
I want to change that. I like my figure, but I want it to be a slender figure 8.

Anyway, a bit drastic I know. but I need to lose a lot of belly fat and the huge love handles in like erm..5 days.

U say that you will be able to see a difference in your belly in 5days if we hula hoop for 30mins.

So now what I am asking you is...

Is hula - hooping for 30 minutes + broom exercise (5 x day) ok to do?

Please let me know if this is bad for me (as in extremely bad – fatal?) lol

I will only be doing it this intense for a week. Maybe two at the most. Is ot ok for me to to this?

The hula hoop & stepper are the same thing because they both burn fat all over your body so if you prefer the stepper - then do that and don't count the calories you burn at work towards weight loss because your body is probably used to your 8-hour work schedule so your body doesn't burn as many calories when you're at work

You can throw out the hula hoop exercise - a lot of people think the hula hoop is mainly for losing belly fat which it does but the hula hoop workout is simply another fat burning cardio workout that burns fat all over your body and since you're doing the Fast weight loss workouts and walking - you're already doing fat loss workouts so there's no need to kill yourself with extra cardio and...

Don't do the love handle brrom exercise everyday - Just do it 2-to-3 times a week for 3-to-4 sets of 8-to-12 reps on each side and once the broom gets easy.. Use a pair of 1-to-5 pound dumbbells and...

You also don't need to do the flabby arm workout since...

#1) your flabby arms are flab that can be burned off with the nes (smarter) weight loss plan I gave you and...

#2) you're already working your flabby arms with Fast weight loss workouts #1 & #2 anyway and...

As for your diet - Go back and try this diet again -I've updated it a little bit to accomodate everybody.

You no longer have to drink protein shakes but you can subsitute the protein shakes for a another source 100 calorie protein source like nuts, fish, chikcen, or other lean meats.

The truth is that you'll probably won't lose that much fat because you're NOT THAT OVERWEIGHT (you're 5-to-10 pounds overweight at the most) but i do think you'll see changes in your body figure due to slight gains in muscle

Yes ADrian. I weigh 60kg and my height is 5’2.5...

Is it necessarily a bad thing if I 'overtrain'?

I’m a young women but I wouldn’t say I’m entirely fit. But if I need to lose the inches, I will try and do whatever it takes to. Especially when time is not on my side!

I will be:

1) Walking for half an hour to an hour in the morning (EVERYDAY)

2) Hula hoop for 30 minutes. Do the love handle broom exercise. Repeat hula hoop for another 30 minutes (TWICE A DAY - EVERY DAY)

3) Do your NEW fat loss workout (#1 on Monday & Friday, #2 on Wednesday)

• To tone up my arms, I will be doing your flabby arm exercises every other day

In terms of my calorie intake, I tried the plan you suggested but failed miserably!

I can never seem to have more than one vegetable or fruit before a meal and I feel that I tend to eat the same amount I would eat anyway regardless of whether I eat the fruits/veges beforehand.

The protein powder also tastes foul which is why I don’t drink it anymore.

Currently, I would say I am within 1200 cals a day, however, I only eat 3 (or 4) times a day, which is bad I know, because it slows down my metabolism rate, but I find splitting up calories into 5-6 time a day just means I eat OVER my calorie allowance at each snack/meal, hence over eating!

Adrian, I understand that obviously you can’t tell me EXACTLY how much I could lose in two weeks but I’m really desperate! I prefer to lose the inches on my body first (for my birthday) and think about weight loss afterwards.

If I follow this plan, approximately how much do you think I could lose. 1 inch? 2 inch?

The reason im doing so much is because I NEED to have lost the inches on my waist. AT LEAT 3-4 INCHES ON MY WAIST and I WANT MY LOVE HANDLES TO DISAPPEAR!

Is this possible in two weeks?

i honestly can't tell you how many inches you may lose but all I can honestly tell you is that you will lose some inches doing this plan but i'm concerned that you may be overtraining (doing too much) - can you write out exactly what you'll be doing everyday?

And you may want to look into doing this fast weight loss diet to help with you losing fatty inches

Hiya,

I am around 36-38 inches around my waist and a lot more around my hips (& love handles area). I really want to nip in my waist (lose inches) and get rid of the love handles as they look very ugly, especially from the back. I am told that I have a nice figure. But these areas could do with improving to look even better. I am starting a plan on Monday. It is as follows. Please have a look:
1) Walking in the morning
2) NEW fat loss workout #1 AND #2 (accordingly to each day)
3) Hula hoop for half an hour - love handles broom exercise - hula hoop for half an hour (TWICE A DAY - MORNING AND EVENING)

the hula hooping and ab crawl are 2 differnent types of exercise.

The hula hoop is a cardio exercise that burns fat while the ab crawl is an exercise that tones your abs but you can do this fast weight loss workout here which has the ab crawl in the workout to burn fat and tone your abs at the same time

You can do the hula hoop workout but you want to mix up your workouts by doing something different so depending on how good or bad of shape you're in... You want do something different every 3 days-to-every-4 weeks so in your case - It may be okay to do everyday for 2 weeks and...

Ok adrian. Now my main priority is my arms and belly. I tried on various outfits and everyone commented that below my breasts i look good, but my 'broad shoulders' and my arms are quite big (kind of flabby - you've got my pictures)which brings down how I look. I was wondering whether I could do the hula hooping as my fat loss workout? or do I have to do other fat loss workouts too? Im doing hula hooping twice a day...where I hula hoop for abt 15 minutes and then do the love handle broom excercise and then the hula hooping another 15mins. But im worried whther iys ok for me to do this everyday. I want results within the next 2 weeks so is it ok if I do this every day? The real answer to your question is... you can get flat abs,lose weight doing the hula hoop exercise for at least 20-to-30 min but at your weight...

I would do the last 10 pounds plan I snt you and you can still do the hula-hopp exercise as part of the plan but I would still expect to lose 10 pounds (with some belly fat) within 40 days

Hey Adrian, Its Tala. I sent u my pictures last time and u commented saying that Im not that bad (ideal weight). I just discovered this part of your website! Went out and got myself a hulahoop and couldnt really do it at first, but after much hard work I have found that I can do up to 30secs-1min! (ok its not that much but its a big eachievmetn for me!) My question is, is it possible to get a flat and toned belly with just the hula hoop? Doing the hula hoop exercise along with exercises for your love handles and... exercises for your abs will help you lose 4-to-5 inches off your waist in probably under 7 weeks but you'll lose inches much faster if you go on a fat loss plan while doing these exercises

If I do just this hula hoop workout once or maybe twice a day, do I still have to do the TVA exercise (the one where you have to draw your tummy in while breathing normally)?
Also, will this work for people who are borderline overweight? Because the girl in the video is pretty fit.

I am interested in how I get rid of the fat on the sides of my stomach and hips. I want to sculpt my whole body I am 5'3 and weigh 132lbs I was in army 3years ago and haven't worked out since so I lost alot of tone and want quick way to fix. Time is of the essence since I am also a single mother and a full time college student. I am so tired of feeling bad about myself or uncomfortrable in my bathong suit at only 22. PLEASE HELP.
