Adrian,

Where to start? I am 21 years old and 5'2" 175 lbs. I have always been over weight. I am a college student pursuing a BA in criminal justice and I need to loose weight not only for my overall health but for my future career too. I have tried so many things but its really hard to got to the gym with my busy schedule. With being on birth control it seems nearly impossible. Do you have any tips on what I can do to prolong my overall health?

Thanks,
Jen

Hello!
I've looked all over this website and have come to the conclusion that if I work out 1 to 2 times a day 5 days a week and eat healthy that I'll lose weight. I'm 5'6" 169.5 lbs and only 24 years old ..I've always been 140 .. I can't believe I gained this much weight in a year! I think I just got too comfortable when my boyfriend moved in last October. How long do you think it will take me to get back to at least 145? Thanks!!

Just use these tips to speed up weight loss and...

also go to NowLoss.com/fast but let me tell you this...

At your weight and height - your weight loss rate will probably only be 1-2 pounds a week anyway and as you lose weight it'll get slower than that.

My best advice is to do more intervals (NowLoss.com/i) in your workouts

Hello Adrian,

I am 5'5, 153 lbs and would like to know if it is possible to lose 3 lbs a week instead of the 1-2 recommendation without harming myself. I started my weight loss journey, but it was hard to get motivation and now I am behind on my goal. Any tips on how I can achieve this??

Thank you so much and you have the most supportive site! Your help is appreciated.

hi adrian,
i hope you can help me with my problem.
i don't really need to lose any weight, my body mass index is about 21.5 now so it's completely normal, but i'd like my legs and especially my thighs to be thinner and firmer. i'd like them to match the rest of my body. i've always had a skinny midriff and arms. i don't want my legs to be very muscular, i'd just like them to be a lot firmer. how can i achieve that?

After reading your site and various others, I've lost about 20 pounds. Only 15 more to go!

One thing that really help me jumpstart my weight loss was the "lose 10 pounds in 3 days" program by Miranda Jenkins. I can't remember the site name. Google it.

I'm a very active kid , I think so and I'm also a varsity ! and I am very aware of eating unhealthy foods . do you think when can I see the results? and how long ?

as soon as you starrt!

take action and you will see results and expect to lose a lot the first week and then maybe only 1-3 pounds a week after your first 2-3 weeks

I'm a 22 year old female, 5'2" and I weigh 165 lbs! I've gained 45 pounds in a little over a year. My eating habits haven't changed. I've never been a big eater, and I like to eat well rounded meals. I've been attending school on a clinical basis, so I've very active for 8 hours a day and yet nothing helps! I've never been one for the gym, but have never had a problem with my weight regardless until now. I'm also not someone who spends all their down time in front of the television. I don't know what to do, it feels like my body has turned against me. I want to be back to 120 ibs as quickly as possible without putting my health in danger.

Good advice. Counting calories and exercise worked for me. I'm down 40 lbs. in 18 months.

I'm using Flat Belly Revolution on the iPhone flatbellyrevolution.com and FreeCalorieReport.com for the calorie info.

Hope this helps,

Sally

Im a 44 yr old male that is in the gym 5-6times a week burning a min. of 1000cals. My weight went from 292 to 262lbs in three months. I ate 2400 cals a day. I have not lost anymore weight and its been a month a friend says i have to eat more because im in starvation mode and i should only try to burn 500cals, is this true?

I found this website to be quite informative, actually, it really motivated me to keep on going with my goal...Despite the fact that I'm already highly motivated, and just keep on motivating myself. My problem is...doubt, since I'm setting quite an outrageous goal for myself to reach.

So, I'm 20, 5'4" and weight 231lbs. Yeah...I'm a big girl.
Anyways, today is January 18th, 2010, and what I'm aiming for is to lose 100lbs by mid/end July 2010. Unhealthy? Absolutely, but it's something I really want done! I have an event that day, which I really want to look great for, be healthy, and able to run around for a whole weekend without getting exhausted.

I'm a bit of a freak of nature, when it comes to cravings and itches for fatty/bad foods. I don't get them, and can easily live off of a rabbit diet without whining, or feeling like giving up because it's terrible. I love vegetables! I love Fish! I love healthy foods and eating right is no problem for me! The hard part is... Dun dun dun...You guessed it, exercising. I was the type of kid that'd skip Gym class...Kinda person. Though I've been doing well, being more hyper/active around everyone, working out for a good 20 mins, with cardio on a stepper. Last night I did 9mins of intervals...Almost passed out. I also do crunches, sit ups, girly push ups and what ever comes to mind...I need more things to do obviously, but, the Intervals/Cardio part -shudders-

Should I do them every day to gain my goal weight in the right amount of time? Or stick to 3-4 times a week? How long? I really, really, really, really want to do this! But will slow down if I'm gonna end up overkilling myself. I'm an at home artist so I have plenty of time on my hands.

Please answer soon~!

NO!

Only do 3-4 QUALITY Intervals workouts a week and listen...

If you do your interval workouts right - you'll only want to do them 3-4 times a week
