1. Ice cold water

You'll burn an extra 200 calories a day by drinking eight glasses of ice cold water because...

Your body has to burn calories (or fat) in order to heat the ice cold water back up to your body temperature. The amount of calories you burn (and the weight you lose) will rack up over time as you drink Ice cold water everyday.

Hi, iam 5"4" and i weigh 142lb im a littel bit over weight for my hieght. Iam a water polo player so i do have mussle mass, iam also vegetarian and i need help to get down to 130 or 132.

hey adrian im 21 and i had a baby the first of the year in feb after i had my baby i lost 30 pounds, well now ive gained it all back im about 5'5 and weigh about 230 what can i do i just wanna look good and be healthy for my baby. id like to at least get down to 160 quick and idk what to do. theres times im not even hungry and if its there i just eat it, HELP!!!

I'm 19 and I'll be turning 20 in October. I've been working out to lose weight, so far I've lost 20 pounds and have also gained some muscle mass, so my current weight is 170. I want to be 130 or 135 before my birthday. Could you help me please, thank you.

since you already lost 20 I dont honestly think I cna help you lose 35 pounds in a month and KEEP IT OFF but first tell me how you lose your first 20 so i can help you better and how tall are you?

I'm 5'2 but closer to 5'3. I lost the first 20 pounds by going to the gym and exercising, cardio and weight trainging.

Hi Adrian,

I am 40 5'3" and weigh 135...I got married a couple of years ago and my happiness has taken me from 120 to 135! I can feel my metabolism slowing...what is a good starting point exercise and eating program to help me lose 15 pounds by Thanksgiving? I have started walking the dogs with my husband in the morning and afternoon for 20 minutes each. Thanks

At your age losing weight should be really easy. First, reduce your calorie intake. That should be easy by making sure you eat low calorie healthy foods like fruits, vegatables and lean meats. 3 meals a day with 2 snacks. Then get active. Ride your bike, go for a walk, run, skip, hop, etc. I just read that using a hoola hoop can help your waist line. I'm 52 yrs old and I'm thinking about trying that one! Good luck and don't lose too much weight.......curves are nice!!

Your still young so you still have baby fat that while drop by the time your thirteen and the parts that seem cubby now will start forming to be more womanly at your height 110lbs is not bad I'm 5'2 and my ideal weight is spose to be around there and I'm 21 so your body is still basically in baby state give it till your thirteen and your be looking good but If you really want to lose some weight just drink at least eight glasses of water a day work out at least 30-45 mins a day stop eating a lot of fried foods eat a lot of veggies and salmon....that diet helped me when I was your age

hiii guys. so i think i have an fairly nice body , i like my arms , thighs ...and my only problem is my belly and love handles.
Iam 5'7 and 60 kg.
I WOULD realy LOVE to loose these stupid love handles and belly .. i feel like without my lovehandles my body would be so nice ! I just dont like going to the gym! i need a new diet

Seeing that your name is Tyler I'm going to make that assumption that you're a male. I'm 17 (female) and weigh 149-150 and I'm 5'6-5'7 I managed to lose a LOT of weight just by replacing EVERYTHING that I drank, with water. ICE cold water. I put a lemon wedge in it as well and that also helps. I lost 4-5 lbs in 2 weeks. Now seeing that you're a male you could probably lose up to 9-10 lbs in two weeks because males have a higher metabolism. Start off with JUST drinking ice cold water for one month. Drink A LOT of water though, instead of snacking replace that snacking with water because sometimes when you're really hungry you could actually just be thirsty. You'll see that you'll be urinating A LOT and by doing that you're losing what is called "Water Weight" Water weight in it self is about 10-12 lbs. You'll notice that your gut and your backside won't be as flabby, it will be a little more firm and you'll see results. Keep that up for a month, see what happens, then KEEP DOING IT for 3 months. Your body will be used to the calories it is burning off. Now for your diet, CUT ALL JUNK FOOD (I'm not saying that's all you eat, even if you eat a little of it, just cut it off). For one week, cut all junk food, and no snacking just for a week. Eat regular meals, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Yes you MUST eat breakfast and here is why. When you get up in the morning, your body is in it's own "state" from repairing itself while you were sleeping, it's energy deficient and you need to get something in there to boost it's energy back up. Once you eat a nice breakfast you will be more wide awake and won't be as tired not only that but it also burns calories faster during the day than it would without breakfast. So eat breakfast even if it means having just an apple. Do all of this for one week, you'll honestly see results on how much better you feel. Now seeing your results keep doing this for a month while you drink your ice cold water. Notice how I haven't said anything about exercise yet. First get your appetite so you are able to exercise without being so tired, remember when you exercise you don't want to go to the point where you're so sore you can't even move, that's actually bad for you, you go until you can "feel the burn". I'm not telling you to go out and run the mile or to go to a gym, maybe you can go for a nice walk after you eat your breakfast. Now It's summer time for me and I don't have to work every day and I don't know if you work but if you don't there's something you can do for your exercise.

1.) Replace everything you drink with ICE COLD WATER (if you don't like the taste because I sure don't put a lemon wedge in it or squeeze a strawberry)
2.) Cut all the junk food (I know it's okay to eat it in moderation but you want to curb your calories and do what is called a "calorie shift" that helps tremendously. Once your body is used to your new healthy diet find out how many calories you consume a day and DOWN shift by 400 calories, you can lose 10 lbs in 2 weeks just by downshifting like that. It's insane)
3.) Eat all 3 important meals during the day, Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
4.) Go for a nice walk or something, that is a start of a cardiovascular workout and trust me on this, you will WANT to start running later on in your healthy diet.

My name Vickie. I found this web site a little over a week ago. Then I weighted 170 lbs. I tried the 7 day water weight loss plan. 60 oz of water, sugar free cranberry jucie, lemon juice, and dandetion root tea bag. Jillian was right. I am on day 6 and I have lost 7 lbs. I also drink grren tea. There are alot of flavors to choose from. Not only have I lost weight, it kills my hunger. Just an idea. I have also been eating the food that promote weight loss. It is working for me. Maybe it can help you.

Same with me and what i am doing and what is really helping me is Im Go for 2 twenty minute walk every day. Im cutting down on what i eat and I also have lost 3-4 poundsjust doing that in the past 2 weeks. It takes timetoloseweight but once you start losing it will be ok! my legs are ok but my belly is NOT fine. but i do 120 sit ups a day. and i eat healthy but i am not seeing any
