weight loss is all about...

eating the right amount to lose weight + eating the right foods (NowLoss.com/199) and exercise and...

I'm slighty confused your saying eat lots of fruit, but some are saying only eat 2 pieces of fuit a day if any.Im getting to a point I dont think I should eat anything.Low carb no carb its getting to much. Yes eating the apples is fine because apples contanin lots of fiber that will help burn fat and suppress appetite to help you lose weight

hi adrian it says You'd have to eat 7 large apples to get the same amount calories contained in one regular sized candy bar i thought eating apples helped u burn 10 calories im confused ): is it ok to eat three a day i thought id loose 30 calories by eating 3 apples

You can lose weight doing what're doing now but the fact is that if you want to lose weight faster or if you are not happy wit how fast you are losing weight - you will have to count calories.

adrain, i weighed 286 when i had my baby 8 months ago and i now lost 17 pounds but i want to lose a100 pounds and i don't want to counting calories because i don't have time so could you tell me exactly how many calories to lose more weight ? i do taebo 5 days a week and i am on the elliptical 30 min. a day is that enough withthe eating right? or do i need to do more my biggest problem is my stomach its coming down at the top part of my stomach but i have a problem in the midsection.

The 3 pounds is GOOD! but YES...

Hey,
First I'd like to thank you for this awesome site.

Im 20 years old 5'6 and 187 lbs.

I've been watching my calerie intake and workin out at the gym everyday for the last 3 weeks. (2.5 miles on elliptical, then 40 crunches and another mile on elliptical) I've also been taking hydroxycut. I just recently bought a scale and seen i've only lost 3 lbs.

do you have any advice to burn off a few more lbs

1-to-2 pounds a day is only possible if you're really overweight and even if you are overweight - you'll only lose that 1-to-2 pounds a day for a short period of time so...

It's best to Go here & focus on losing 1-to-2 pounds a week permanently

also i got so used to not liking the foods when i was on the trip and still when i got home so i don't really get hungry too much anymore. i've never been overweight before so i'm afraid my bodies going to go into like shock mode and start gaining weight. i don't want that and if theres 2 things that i have a fear of is fat/being fat and wrinkles on my skin. i can tell that i've already started to get some more belly fat then i did before. and tomarrow i'm going to the beach and with friends of mine, my sisters, and my parents and theres friends kids too. theres going to be all types of foods there incuding sweets. what do i do for my body to get normal again? and what do i do while i'm at the beach with all that food? i have to eat i jsut don't know what exactly would be my best choices

you're going to the beach (that's good - im happy for you) but it's not like the sweets are talking to you saying "Nicole eat me" and please dont act like it's all bad foods at the beach - you have options

i cant tell you what to do in this situation - you're going to have to look within yourself to find a way to get better food in your household (without stealing it or hurting someone to get it)

Heyy, Adrian. I'm not overweight, but I wanted to lose some weight to feel better about my self. I'm 13 5 7" female. What I did that was really stupid if me was tagt I went on a low-calorie diet. Before I weighed 108lbs and one day I stopped losing weight. I weighed 102lbs when I stopped losing weight. Then I started eating healthy cuz I found out that not eating slows down your metabolism so now I gained a pound yesterday. I was 103lbs. Today I'm 104. The big problem I have is that I don't get hungry anymore! That is not normal for me. I don't know what to do. I don't want to gain more weight than I had when I started the diet. Please help me. I don't know when to eat cuz I don't ever get the hungry feeling anymore. Please help me. I wanna go back to normal, I'm just a kid.BTW, I've never been fat before so I'm scared my body would store fat and I'll be fat. What should I do to get normal and get hungry again. Would I be normal in a week? If I eat more cuz I hadn't eaten before?

thats true. okay so i finally ended up calling my mom to see if there was like some hidden food that i wasnt seeing and i endedup finding some lunch meat (turkey). i made myself a sandwich with lots of light and fit manayaise, turkey and a peice of cheese.

i know i shouldn't skip meals but since i just got back from my trip we have like nothing healthy to eat. no fruits, vegetables, salad. i can't even have a sandwich cause all our meats are frozen. what should i do? is it ok to skip lunch or should i try to find something close to healthy?

it seems like what you're talking about is only going to be a temporary situation and in that case - there is no need for you to worry about it and once you get food in your house again (which is soon i hope)just go back to eating right again

okay im back from my trip from visiting with family. on the trip i got in the habit of drinking lots of water and now my bodies wanted mostly water now instead of craving for a fountain drink or something else unhealthy. im eating fruits more too but i dont care too much for salad. i try to avoid dark meats and instead eat a lighter meat like a type of chicken. i still have that habit of chewing gum though. i dont know how to break that habit or what to replace instead of chewing gum. do you have any ideas what i could replace gum with?

THAT's great!!

i proud of you.

the gum thing shouldnt be too big of a problem if you keep up your good habits but i would only worry about the gum chewing unless you have a photo shoot coming up or a vaction you want to look good for and in that case you may want to stop gum chewing about 3-to-10 days before the event but even then...

i think your habits are good enough that the gum chewing may not even matter

im going to visit family soon and typicaally when i do we eat alot of junk food, sweets, pizza, stuff like that. i dont want to tell them or show them in anyway im trying to lose weight but i want to still continue losing weight but ill be too busy to excercie that week (well im going to ceder pooint walking around alot but im mean excercise routines) how can i stay healthy and still lose weight and not show it by turning down unhealthy foods while visiting and without starving myself too?

how long is the visit

if it's a short visit then dotn worry about it and let loose and have fun and then get serious afterwards and

if it's a long stay like more than 1-2 weeks then you need to bite the bullet and just let them KNOW you're trying to lose weight and ask yourself this...

"Is it better for me to gain more weight or is it better for me to let them know i want to lose weight so i can look good naked?"

ok but the only problem i have with excercising is that i have knee problems sp it hurts to do activitie that put pressure on my knees such as going up stairs and walking alot.

you can still do the upper body toning exercises and the calf exercises on that page and for your butt...

do this exercise here it puts very little or no pressure on knees

I tried alot of diet program but nothing work properly. i have a sprained ankle and ligaments injury so i cant walk or workout. 2ndly i am suffering from PCOS that case me to put more weight. hi im nicole and im 13 years old. i weigh 106 but i feel fat still. i try to eat healthy and exercise but i just cant keep faithful to the routine. i stick to it about a day or the most ive ever done befoe was a week but i just cant stay with it. i end up getting board and then caving into eating chocolate, not exercising... my ex-boyfriend is coming back in like 5 months, sometime in september i think and we agreed on us getting back together maybe then. i want to look better then i did when he left and have losed some weiight. what do i do? i want to lose weight but i just dont know how? can someone help me please?

I am very over weight. I happened to stumble onto your web site. For the first time in a while I am actually excited to try to lose weight. I have heard about the methods you recommend here and there but not all together at one web site. I do not want to join a weight loss program again because they do not work for me long term.

I stumbled across your site by accident. I haven't seen one pitch to buy this or that other than some ads an links on the side--I commend you for that.

I've had personal trainers; boxing trainers and my weight doesn't budge. I'm 45, obese and reading your FREE diets to do and not to do's I've come to the realization its my diet and lack of interval training.

I'm going to give your plan a try and see what happens.

Hi Adrian!

Just wanted to let you know that this site is AWESOME! I started on 1/01/10 & have lost 16lbs so far & I haven't even started exercising yet. I have some dvds I bought & I'm starting them this weekend!

My concern is I'm afraid I am not taking in enough calories. For breakfast it's usually egg whites & a few pieces of deli turkey or a tbsp of peanut butter on 2 pieces of whole wheat bread.

Lunch consists of leftovers from the night before (either grilled chicken, lean turkey, baked fish or lean beef) along with fresh cooked
veggies or raw veggies. Sometimes I only eat raw veggies & fruits.

Dinner is veggies & some type of lean meat or just a salad. I've been entering what I eat into a calorie calendar & it's anywhere from 900-1135 calories per day. Do I just need to eat more veggies & fruits?? I don't want to crash diet I know that can mess up your metabolism & ruin my weight loss plan.

Also I am drinking 4 cups of decaf green tea per day & 64-86 oz of water per day.

If you're not starving or struggling to stay on your current diet then I dont see any problem with the way you are eating but if you are starving or struggling...

I suggest you eat at least 1200-1500 calories a day

Hello my name is rita I wight about 213lbs I've done try to lose 95 of it by working out @ the gym, taking pills just about every diet pill an they did work, I try to do a diet plan but I can't seem to find one that I can stick with for myself an that I will like. I wanted to know can u tell me how can I lose 95lbs fast oh one thing I sometimes don't like to do excercisse but I can find something that can work for me with my days days are then I'll do it.
