To get your body back after a C-section…

You should have been instructed by your doctor to take at least 6 weeks off before doing almost any kind of physical activity so that means…

If you do not give your C-section time to fully recover…

Follow these 3 steps to get your body back after a C-Section…

  1. After you've taken at least 6 weeks to recover from your C-section… You can then ask your doctor if it is okay for you to go on a diet and exercise plan to lose belly fat or any body fat you have and…
  2. To firm up your stomach…
    • You'll need to do flat ab exercises which works your TVA muscles AND/OR…
    • You can do isometric abdominal contractions where you squeeze & hold your abs tightly for 10 secs as if you were bracing yourself for a belly punch but…
    • You'll still need to get permission from your doctor before even doing these low intensity abdominal exercises and…
  3. Even after your 6 week recovery period your doctor may still advise you to not doing any abdominal exercises like sit-ups for ANOTHER 6-to-12 weeks and…

Make sure you also look at…

Hi I'm a mother of 3 all C-sections. It seems like I lose more weight with each child so I'm in the process of trying to gain. I'm only about 115 pounds but I have a flabby stomach. What can I do to tone up my stomach but still gain weight & curves at the same time?

I'm 5'5 and I weigh 162. I delivered a baby girl 6 months ago via c-section. What would be a good way to lose about 15lbs while burning belly fat? My belly is not big but it has somewhat of a bulge. Thank you!

I am 24, 4'10, and 209LBS!!!! I just had a baby 6mths ago via C-section. A healthy 8lb 1oz baby boy. M stomach is outrageous. After I had him I started to drastically lose weight the first two weeks. Then out of nowhere the weight slowly crept back. I can admit I hadn't changed my eating habits fully (still eating for two kind of thing). I am also breastfeeding but the only person who benefits from it is our son. I'm naturally small I didn't start gaining weight til after our first child via csection. I just want my body back please help. Nothing drastic I'll be content at 150-160lbs.

I used to be a gym rat (going 3hrs or more every other day alternating between cardio and weights) My belly was firm and elastic before I had my son via c-section, then it seems my belly just kind of deflated and now kind of hangs over. I can't really find the time or energy to exercise like I used to and I haven't really been sucessful at modifying my routine to get the same quality in less time. As a result I keep yo-yoing around my 9month pregnancy weight :(. I would really like to lose around 80 or so pounds by Christmas, any suggestions?
