I'm so addicted to coffee. I drink way to much. It's habit I know as I quit smoking, can't drink alcohol due to medication and love coffee. I want to quit but after a few days of no coffee I miss it like a best friend. I'm like an alcoholic with coffee. Could use some help here! I know it's not good to drink this much coffee.

Instead of going cold turkey, try and minimise the amount of coffee you drink slowly - like maybe not have one at dinner unless you are working out afterwards :) It should get easier :) Good Luck!

I utterly love my coffee too, but I try to only have one per day now, and not more. I think I'm unusually caffeine sensitive and this may be a contributor to holding onto/gaining weight. One day I hope to quit this habit, but I can't contemplate it really. I try to have my coffee like the Italians - never after midday. I also understand that it takes about eight hours for the liver to break down, so a coffee before midday shouldn't disturb sleep :)

I'm on a coffee diet.. 1 coffee at breakfeast, lunch, dinner. I don't eat food, and i drink at least 2 liters of water a day.. i've lost 3.7 kilo's in 2 weeks so i actually think coffee is good for you.. plus drinking it only makes you hungry for a couple of days after that you get use to it.. plus i dietrecian (i dont no how to spell it) told me that coffee is actually healthy and good for your body.. it fights of some sort of cancer in women. C:

Nescafe is highly processed, as is Dutch cocoa. Perhaps try as 'natural' a cocoa as you can find? Without the cocoa fat or sugar it might not taste how you would expect though. In smoothies with a banana or a nut butter etc it is a delicious combination. I make a fruit smoothie with cocoa nibs which get blended up pretty fine and it's enjoyable.
