are you saying that if I do this TVA exercise, this would be all I need to lose belly fat and get some abs? Or do I need to do other exercises as well (ie threadmill running, lifting weights)

DO NOT HOLD YOUR BREATH! - it may seem hard not to do so at first but with practice you'll get it.
When you breathe you take away from your TVA muscles (flat tummy muscles) doing all the work

My only guess is that you're caving in your chest and rounding out your upper back as you're doing this exercise so if this is the case...
Don't do it anymore and focus on just moving your TVA muscles - it takes time for some people to learn how to properly isolate thier TVA muscles and

When I read this I was shocked. I have always done this exercise
without knowing it's an actual exercise. I've had 3 kids, and I'm
not exactly in the best shape of my life. But one thing I have always
had pride in is how flat my stomach is in comparison to the rest
of my body. Even when I'm walking around the house doing chores
I'm constently holding in my belly button. Recently I have started
doing pilates, and they always say pull your belly button to the
spine to strenghten your core. There is no doubt in my mind that
this really works.

are you saying that these excerises actually work and how long do
i need to keep doing them b4 i see a result? do i need to change

lol i didn't know there was such a muscle, but now that i think
of it. I use this muslce all the time to hold in my stomach,while
breathing, when im around people. So that means I'm already advanced
I just have a problem with my lower ab fat.
P.S. in addition to my strong abs it seems I have a 4 pack heh that
sucks. Cool technique anyways.

Look at the second video where you use a rope around your waist
- This exercsie can be done all day long because as you relax your
TVA muscles the rope will become tight reminding you to pull in
your TVA muscle. This will not overwork your TVA muscle
Hanging leg raise where you lift your hips are the best ab exercises
because these are the only ab exercises where you abs actually have
to contract to work.

Adrian, are u saying in the videos above we have to train the

breathe normally? holding your breath takes away from the work
your TVA muscles do. When you breathe normally your TVA muscles
do all the work

Question - while working the TVA can I just draw my tummy in and
continue to breathe normally, or do I also have to hold my breath
as long as I am sucking it in?

It sounds like your TVA muscles are weak and you just need to
work them.
Did you read the article? try doing the TVA exercise where you tie
the string around your belly all day and remember if you have fat
around your belly , you have to burn that fat off
