why stay away from isolation exercises when building muscle

can u suggest a workout plan of compound exercises to get the body of gerard butler and also if you got some stubborn fat is doing the 300 workout say once a week or 2 weeks a gud way of burning some it while putting on muscle

I am 15 and wanting to get well defined. So i Dont have whey or any equipment. Any suggestions that could help me?

If you have a moment, can you recommend a workout using only dumbbells and body weight (I have a chin up bar too) that could achieve similar results?
