I have been trying for months to lose weight, only 10-15 lbs. The problem is that I have that stage in my mid-30's where the metabolism has said adios and holiday foods have taken their toll. I have a date with someone that has been very special to me and has not seen me in months. I want to look my best by this weekend. Even just 5 lbs would make me feel better! I know the regimens of water, low carb foods, no soda, no salt, exercise for 30-45 mins a day and a positive outlook. Is this going to help me get my body back? I went from 117 lbs to 147 lbs in a span of three years and really want to get back to 125-130 lbs. I know that won't happen by this weekend but I would like to know if losing 5 lbs in 4 days is realistically possible. Is this safe? Thanks :-)

I consider myself active. I have always worked out, but picked up some bad eating habits and found myself weighing 288. I went to the Doctor for a check up because I was tired of looking fat and more importantly I wanted to get back into the Navy Reserves. I got out of the Navy to go to school. Now that I have completed my education. My goal is to get back into the reserves to finish my 20 years. I started running. In the beginning I couldn't even run 1 mile without stopping. Now I can run 5 to 7 miles at least four times a week. But I have hit a wall in my weight loss. I now weigh 250. I considered taking diet pills, which is what I was searching for when I ran across your website. My goal was 20 pounds. But after reading up on your website I have a new excitment and it makes sense. I will definetly start today Jan 3rd 2010 and let you know how it goes. My goal now is at least 25 to 30 pounds. And if it works I will not stop there. I will keep you posted.
