How to firm up your flabby arms
Stop your arms from jiggling when you wave at people

I want you to look at the video below of a very common exercise most people use to work the back of their arms (triceps)

Notice in the video below how my elbow is fixed at a 90 degree angle at all times.  Most people let their elbow dip and the more your elbow dips the less work your flabby arms get.

And one last thing before you play the video... ONLY MOVE YOUR ELBOW JOINT. Keep your shoulders and wrist joints locked in place.  The more your shoulders and wrist move the less work your flabby arms get.

Go here to fix flabby arms

Adrian Bryant | 07.14.09 - 2:33 pm

Adrian,
I'm 51 years old and have always been in good physical shape. I've always had sculpted arms because I ride horses every day. However, just recently I saw a slight jiggle toward the back of my arm when I relaxed it! I'm not heavy - 5'9" / 125 lbs. What is going on?!

Rissa | 07.13.09 - 6:03 pm

i am so happy i stumbled across this web site. you make it so simple to follow these exercises properly. i am 49 yrs old. i suffer from degernertive disk desease and extreme siatica. a recent m.r.i. indicated i have glutious tendonitis as well as bursitis in my hip. i have had surgery for bursitis in my left elbow. 4 monthes ago i decided i was tired of being overwieght (199lbs and 5'7"). i elimenated all enriched wheat from my diet and added lean protien, fruit, veggies and fiber from whole wheats and oates. i started walking. i am now up to walking 2 miles daily. swimming 3x's weekly and i am tring to include some exersizes to tone my body. i have lost 13 lbs. and i am discuraged the wieght is coming off so slowly. i was ready to throw in the towel but i now have new hope thanks to you. trudy

You have nothing to worry about

Everybody loses fat in different places as they lose weight and as you lose weight...

You'll lose flab off your legs which will look firmer as you keep losing weight

Adrian Bryant | 06.15.09 - 6:19 pm

Hi Mr. Bryant,

I am 21 years old and have really flabby thighs and arms. I currently weigh 174lbs and of those lbs 40% is body fat. That is what my group trainer says. I am currently enrolled in FresnoBootCamp (FresnoBootCamp.Com) and have completed 2weeks of it already. I plan on staying enrolled for about a year or even two. Fresno Boot Camp is an outdoor fitness camp and I attend it every morning m-f from 5:30am-6:30am. In this camp we do a combination of weights/cardio and my shirt gets really soaked in sweat when I come home [=. I also jog an extra 2 miles in the evening m-f and rest on weekends. Although it has been two weeks I am amazed that my arms seems to look and feel firmer however my thighs remain flabby and the same. Everytime I look in the mirror I loose hope that I will ever have nice defined sculpted legs. I am not exspecting fast results but I just want to know if my thighs will ever be capable of firming up and look sculpted/defined if I work har at it. Will a year do it? Or even two? I just want to know if this is possible. Thank you for your time and this is a wonderful website! [=

Hi!
I was wondering how I can lose my Belly fat, I have a lower belly hang, it hangs. If I could lose that and my arm jiggles I would really look ok. But my upper belly looks ok, my problem is my lower belly. I have had 2 surgeries and now my lower belly looks awful. Help

After having exercised religiously for 18 years, I let work/emotional issues get in my way about two years ago. Consequently, I've lost a lot of the muscle tone I used to have. My weight isn't a problem, but my arms, in particular, look like the wrath of God because they're lacking muscle tone which used to be great! At 60, am I going to be able to get that musculature back, or have I messed myself up forever?

Of course you can get your sexy arms back - dont believe your age won't let it happen!

I've seen people in their 80's with well toned arms

January 14, 2010 - 09:47

My problem is I'm small a size 5 6. However whenever I gain weight I gain it in my upper body which I hate. My arms aren't really flabby in fact they are too toned. It makes me look really broad. Is there any way I can reduce my arms without building more muscle or will I have to lose all my weight and be super skinny.

How much do you weigh - the answer may simply be fat loss in your case since it seems like your body likes to store it's excess fat in your upper body

January 09, 2010 - 09:03

I currently weigh 133 which im sure is kinda big for a person who is only 500 tall. But like I previously said its only in the upper body!

I'm 5'4 120 lbs, I consider myself skinny but my upper arm fat bothers me. What pound weights should I use, how many reps, and how many times a week. Thank you!

the pounds you use is all relative to you but you need a weight that is going to challange you for 8-to-15 reps and once that "weight" gets easy - you move up to higher weights
