do this to lift butt without working your thighs very much

Adrian Bryant | 06.28.09 - 6:00 pm

Going to try this. It seems when I do squats and lunges my thighs bulk (I don't want that) BUT it really lifts my butt (I DEFINITELY want this) so what should/can I do? The squats def tone but I want my thighs tight, firm yet slender and my butt lifted, firm, and tone.

Also, what about that jiggle? Sometimes you recommend losing body fat and/or weight but if I lose anymore weight I'll disappear. (I'm 5'7'', currently 128.5. Weight fluctuates like crazy and I lose inches like mad much to my chagrin.) So, what can I do?

Thank you so much for your help and advice.

No - you need to go here to burn thigh fat

Adrian Bryant | 06.16.09 - 1:02 pm

Hi, I find your workout great.
See, my thighs are a bit flabby and have little muscle below the fat. If I continue this exersize, will it make my thighs bulkier...or will it burn my fat?

Hannah | 06.15.09 - 11:15 pm

Well if it's mostly muscle then NOT doing inner thigh exercises will make our inner thigh muscles shrink.

To make any muscle atrophy or shrink - you have to not use that muscle long enough to make it shrink

Adrian Bryant | 06.07.09 - 10:21 pm

At this point, im pretty sure its the muscles in my legs that make them look big, not the fat(they are smaller than they used to be).About how long should it take for the muscles to shrink?

i love your iner thigh work out. I was wondering if you could help me by telling me at home workouts to get rid of lower stomach fat and fat on the side of my hips?

jenn212 | 05.04.09 - 5:29 pm

Kay,

You can de-bulk them by not doing any direct thigh exercises for a while to allow your muscles to shrink or atrophy from non-use

Adrian Bryant | 04.16.09 - 8:57 pm

Rainbow,

If you're sore take 1 day or at least up to 72 hours OFF!

Adrian Bryant | 02.26.09 - 6:54 pm

Hi,

Can I ask if over-exercised will result in bulky muscles? It's because I still continue doing my daily exercise even though both my thighs felt sore.

Thanks=D

Hello I am trying to gain at least 5-7 lbs of muscles overall. I am a female. I want to tighten up my bottom area. thighs, butt, stomach and legs. I used to cheer in high school and I was in good shape, but since I have gotten older I seemed to have lost muscle mass and now my bottom half looks soft. what exercises and shake can I drink. I heard protein shakes are good after a good workout.
