When You Try To Lose Weight... |
|
Your bodyweight is mostly made up of water, muscle, minerals, vitamins, and ugly body fat. You don’t want to use a weight loss method where you lose a lot of water, muscle, and mineral weight. Whenever you lose a lot of water and muscle weight you’ll still in a sense be fat. You may not be overweight after you lose a lot of water, muscle and mineral weight but you will still be overfat. Your body will still be unattractive and you will still have the associated health risk that come from having too much body fat. |

You may go into a steam room wearing trash bag for 30minutes thinking you can lose 5lbs quickly but %100 percent of that weight you just lost is water weight. You may be 5lbs lighter but you haven’t lost any body fat and as soon as you replenish your body with fluids you’ll gain the weight back anyway.
Fad dieting and extreme exercise programs are some examples of weight loss methods were you may lose more muscle, water, and mineral weight than body fat. It’s counterproductive to go on a fad diet or extreme exercise program because of the muscle you lose.
Muscle is the exact opposite of body fat. Muscle makes our arms firmer, our bellies flatter, our legs look slimmer, and it makes other part of our body look attractive. As you’ll learn later the more muscle you have the easier it’ll be for you to lose weight and keep it off.

If you’re going to lose weight make sure that after you lose weight that you come out looking better and healthier than when you started your weight loss program by focusing on losing body fat.
