Here's the only point you need to worry about...
The more intense or harder any workout is to you wheter it be running or whatever...
You will burn the most fat doing the most intense activity

Sometimes I do intervals where I run at speed 10 for a minute then walk at speed 3 for a minute, every minute for about a hf hr. Other times i will literally run at 6 for an hr and burn around 700 calories. Both seem to tire me out and feel great but I hear mixed things all the time as to which is better, i know alot of people dont realize when they run that they are being counter productive so that is why i am asking. I just want to get skinnier. period. Im healthy, i eat well and am not over weight just a small gut and a bit flabby. What should I be doing. I run, regardless of what way, 5 times a week. Intervals or fat burning long runs? Ive read that when your heart rate gets over about 160 (which mine does when doing the intervals but no when i run at 6 for an hr) you are no longer burning fat, is this true?
