Is there a way I can really lose 10 pounds in 1 week?

The true answer is that you really can't unless...

You are really overweight and/or...

You may lose 5-to-10 pounds in your first week of starting a weight loss program but...

You can go on some extreme diet like the master cleanse where you eat virtually nothing but in the end - you'll lose muscle along with fat lowering your metabolism making it real easy for you to gain back all the weight you lost (and more) so really...

Instead of 10 pounds a week - you need to focus on 1-to-2 pounds of permanent fat loss per week because...

Hi Adrian
First of all let me shower my compliments on the brains behind this amazing site.You guys are doing an awesome job.
I weigh 149 pounds and trying to lose the last 5-6 lbs. I walk on the treadmill at 5km/hr for 30 mins minimum and then do yoga for about an hour for 3 days in a week. I fast 2 days in the week for religious reasons. Is there anything I am missing cause I have been trying to lose this weight since about 2 months and have'nt succeeded.
Please help me.
