3 ways to lose those last 10 pounds
1. Make changes in your exercise plan... If you've been
walking on a treadmill at 3.0 mph for 45 minutes everyday...
Your body is going to get used to
this and you'll stop losing weight and if you want to start losing
weight again - You have to make small changes like...
- You can walk 4.0 mph instead of 3.0 mph for 30 minutes or...
- You could walk for 60 minutes instead of 45 minutes or...
- The best thing you can do is different exercises like riding a bike
or elliptical. After I told
a lady at the gym I work at to switch from the treadmill to the elliptical...
She lost 4 pounds the next week.
2. Make changes in your diet plan.
- You could eat 5 smaller meals instead of 3 big ones and if you're
already eating 5 small meals... eat 7 smaller meals to start losing
weight again or...
- If all you're doing now is dieting (meaning you don't exercise
now) then all you may need to do to lose those last 5 - 10 pounds
is to EXERCISE!
3. Drink more water and eat less salt... Drink an ounce
of water for every pound you weigh for 2 days and limit your salt/sodium
intake to 1500mg. Drinking this much water for only 2 days and avoiding
salt will help you flush out 5 - 10 pounds of excess water weight so...
If you weighed 200 pounds you would need to drink 200 ounces of water each
day for the next 2 days. Read

5 - 10 pounds fast.

Is it bad to use a treadmill instead of a elliptical? Do you still get results?

Hi! :o) OK, lets see if you can help me. In one month, I lost 12 lbs. which I did by eating right and exercise. I am quite fit and I exercise everyday. I am at my last 5 lbs. before I can start working out and cutting up for a competition in figure. This will be my first at age 48. I added more cardio to my regular workout day but I am stuck. I am not moving. The following is what I've added to get rid of those last 5lbs but I'm not moving. I am training in the morning and in the afternoon I do a combination cardio (15 min), weights (light), and abdominal workout in the afternoon. In the morning I've added 30 min "high intensity" spin cycle and 15 min. elliptical on to my 1hour training routine. In total, I've gone from a 2.5 daily workout to a 4 hour workout which is split into morning and late afternoon sessions. My body is not feeling tired to where I would say I'm over worked and need to slow it down. What can I be doing wrong? or What can I change to lose those last 5 lbs.
