How to do Bench Presses for a bigger chest…

To make the bench press better for building a bigger chest…

You'll basically be using a fast muscle building technique called pause reps where you pause or stop for 3-to-5 seconds before pushing the weights off your chest in a bench press so…

If you're having a hard time getting your stubborn chest muscles to grow and respond to any type of chest exercises - give the workout in the video above a try to make your chest look bigger and better and just so you'll know…

Because you can't use any momentum in this exercise - this bench press exercise is more intense than your regular bench press so you're going to have to set aside your ego and you may have to start off using lighter weights so for example…

If the best you can do is 200 pounds for 5 reps doing regular bench press - you may only be able to do 160 pounds for 5 reps because you're not using any momentum to help you and remember… Momentum is a bad thing since it takes away from your chest building workout.

Hey Adrian I happened to stumble into your site while doing a search for something else. Your video about the bench press will be very helpful for my "tissue paper" chest. I actually never thought about doing the exercise in that manner. Thank you.

Hello Adrian,

I was ordering the video from your site and hopefully i will get it sooner. I was planning on doing exercise for my whole body, I want to focus on my arms, abs, chest, and legs first... Can you provide me with a more detail procedure to start with and of course, i want one with pictures more appropriate... I am looking to find a quick muscle build in days... or weeks, still consider months. Please fill me in and i will update you on the progress.

Thanks,
Syl

I am 12,athletic, toned, i have a six pack,i am 125 pounds and 5'11. I was wondering what are the best workouts for me for the chest. And please don't say pushups, because this is untrue.

Adrian bryant

Pushups do work and if you tell me how you were doing them before I can show you a pushup workout that works but you can do this non pushup chest workout

I'm around 140 pounds I started doing bench press going from light to Heavy, nothing happend what if I start from heavy to light?

October 01, 2011

Adrian Bryant

it's not a matter of heavy or light is more of a matter of picking a weight that will allow you to do 6-to-12 reps for the best results

I would start off by just including the dumbbell bench press and dumbbell flye in your chest workout by doing 4 sets of 8-to-12 reps of each 1-to-2 times a week
