James

how is it time consuming to change the weights.

Remember - if you are capable of doing heavier weight 'within a workout' then do it because if you use the same weight in a workout over & over knowing you can use more then you are only cheating yourself and wasting your time but to solve your problem - what you cna do is...

find a weight that you know you have to stick with for the entire workout and use that weight but...

make sure that by the next workout that you use more weight, do more reps and/or do more sets

Hi adrian

oki so at the moment i can only afford 50kg 110lbs of weights at the moment. i cant afford anymore. can you give me an example of how many sets and reps with the weights i have to burn fat nd gain muscle please ? ? 20kg chanleges my body. please keep in mind that it is time consuming for me to keep getting up after each set to change my weights round. whereas is there a way of just using 1 specific weight ?? please let me of sme kind of regime i could do. thankyou.

James

Each set would be great but you do want to increase either the weight, do more reps and or sets each workout you do to because doing that makes your muscles stronger making them bigger so for example...

You can do 5 sets of 5 reps with 100 pounds the first workout but...

the next workout you need to do more sets, more reps and/or use heavier weight

Hi Adrian

I want to start this (Burn FAT, Build Muscle & Get Ripped) program you have going . to get a leaner body and ripped as you have shown with the wolverine hugh jackman.

i calculated my body calorie and intakes via your calculator which i have sorted my food intake now. I checked your program out and steps on what to do .

But then i had one problem, i saw that with each set the user has to increase their weights by 10 or 5 pounds. Now adrian at the moment i have a 50kg (110lbs) set of weights which can be put on my barbell and dumbells at home.

I can only lift 10 to 20 at the moment. My main question is that . with each set do i have to keep getting up and down to change my weights and increase them to odd pounds as this is really time consuming ?? is there an easy way ? . or is there any way i could stick to 1 weight such 10kg for week 1 , then increse to 20kg for week 2 and so on

i also posted a question on yahoo to help you understand more. its below

DO I HAVE TOO KEEP CHANGING MY WEIGHTS ON EACH SET TO GAIN MUSCLE.?

guys and ladies. currently i am trying to gain muscle. i have my own bench and barbell, dumbell and set of weights all equaling 50kg (110Ibs).

I keep reading that on the 1st set of 10 reps you must use a desired weight that i can lift. then on the 2nd set increase the weight by 5Ibs and so increasing weights with the next set. My question is that i am doing 7 sets in the morning & evenings 2 times a week ..through out each set do i have Change my weights ??

or can i stick to one weight for 1 week and increase that weight the next .

I.e. wk 1 = 10kg
wk 2 = 20kg. nd so on

could i just do that instead ?

Because 2 keep getting up and down to change my weights arround on each set is time consuming. and will increasing weights each week be effective ?. has neone done this before and got results.

Adrian please let me know what i can do please. or if theres other solutions please let me know.

thankyou.

Billythehood

Any type of reverse curls or hammer curls like heavy hammer curls here but...

Doing paralell grip chins and reverse grip pullups will also really build up and add mass to your peaks

Adrian Bryant | 06.01.09 - 8:40 am

What is the best exercise to build a peak on your biceps?

Hey Adrian, kind of an odd question, i'm a scrawny guy, finally starting to put on some size...however I started noticing some stretch marks near my inner shoulder/chest area. Wondering if there's anything I can do about that. Thanks
