Hi Adrain, I am on the 20lbs in 3-4 weeks plan. Is it possible to stay on this longer than the 3-4 weeks. Can I stay on it for 8-16 weeks. Is this too much? I also have been doing the exercises that is used on the lose 50lbs in 5 months and I am doing the swim aerobic or walk-a-way the pounds on the other days. I am 214lbs, 5'2" diagnosed with SLE/Lupus, and have been on steroids for years. I made a decision to DO SOMETHING and fast when I was playing with my 6 year old and ran out of breath with doing hardly any activity. When he fell on me...he kept playing with my stomach and kept saying big ole' fat belly... and few other things. No More Excuses saying it is just the steroids. I realize steroids makes people gain weight but I believe by changing my eating habits, I can soften the blow. My short-term goal is 150lbs and long term goal is 115-125 dor my age and height.
Adrain this is KC again, I pray that I am not imposing on you. I am also the founder of a non-profit organization and I specialize in image consultanting, job coaching, career/life coaching so getting in shape is very IMPORTANT. I assist battered, under-served, and unfortunate women and teens. www.beautifythemeek.org As in the first email, I am at 214lbs. I have stopped taking high dosages of steroids on a consistent basis. I am on 7.5 mg of steroids a day and my doctors told me that I can see weight loss results now that my steroids are lowered. They, my doctors, told me to go for it and find my comfort level. They did say low impact will be great yet if I am willing to push myself...go ahead. So here is where I am
15 power cleans
15 squats push-press
15 power clean squat push press combination
150 jumping jacks
150 ski jumps - ALTERNATIVE just do the jumping jacks all over again...I know it is simple to do the ski jumps but I feel as though my coordination is off so I just
walk -away the pounds by Leslie Sansome in conjunction with this 3 times a week
@ 2 times a week - Water aerobic and/or Leslie Sansome walk away the pounds. I try to combine the two but if I am running late...I definately do the water aerobics because I have the class for it @ 10 - 11 am. I try to do the walk a way the pounds because I need to do exercises 1st thing in the morning. So do I need to do more to loose 20lbs in 3 weeks and again can I stay on the 20lbs in 3-4 weeks plan up to 16 weeks or at least 12 weeks. This is my 1st week.
