how much cardio should i be doing

depends on what your goals are?

if you're skinny and trying to get bigger then cardio should not even be a focus right now but you can do it 3-5 times a week if you like and...

if you're trying to burn fat then cardio should only be done as optional on your rest days - use intervals to burn fat
