Try to balance on 1 leg the whole time you're doing this exercise and it's understandable that you may lose your balance while doing this exercise because... it'll take some getting used to before you can do this exercise while keeping your balance but...

The whole time your doing this exercise - you want to squeeze the butt muscles of the leg you're balancing on to maintain your balance and to get a great butt blasting workout and if you still find this move too hard...

Try the easier 1 legged deadlift that also gives you a great butt, hips, & thighs workout.

adrian my height is 188 and my weight now between 94:95 kg my weight was 144 kg and i really fed up from diet and exercises . i wanna go to gym and start to build muscles my question can i build muscles and lose weight in same time but some of my friends told me that anyone try to build muscles should eat too much and that against lose weight anyway my final decision will depend on u and thank you tooooooooo much realllyyyyyyyy ur website is soooooooooooo useful

I can't stay motivated for long periods of time it seems...I do good for about a week then lose my excerising moad and now the days have crept up on me and I only have 13 days left till I "have" to fit into my jeans in which I fit into a mere 8 months ago..I'm looking to lose inches more than weight pretty quickly. With all my downfalls do you have anything that can whip my butt and thighs into shape with hard workout and diet plans? I used to work out 3 times a day swimming and never thought I'd gain weight but here I am not swimming and gaining weight and used to being able to fit in all my clothes!! (I don't have a pool either, I probably wouldn't be in this situation!)

Mary,

when you say terrible - Do you mean you injured your hamstrings and you need some rehab exercises? please confirm whether or not you need rehab exercises or just basic toning before i can help and if it is injured - I may not be able to help you with my background

my hamstrings are in terrible condition. everything going in the opposite direction. what is the best exercise
