I am female, 25, 5'2, and about 134. I don't really look fat, but I want to prevent becoming flabby and tone up my arms, legs, and stomach. Also, I'd prefer to eat healthier on a regular basis. I know you have programs to lose 10 lbs. in 40 days or less, but what if I was looking to drop closer to 15-20 lbs.? I don't mind a simple exercise regimine, but all I own are a set of 4 lb. weights and I have very bad knees from years of volleyball and figure skating, so I can't run, at least not long distances or on a regular basis. I want my figure back! Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I am 16 6' and weigh 210 lbs. I have just cut out all breads and soft drinks and have started drinking a spoonfull of canola oil between meals, i would like to lose around 30-40lbs of fat fairly quick, do you have any suggestions about excercise or further diet plans? i also skateboard and bmx daily so i am very healthy, just overweight

If you're trying to lose weight & look better naked then I suggest you stick with regular oatmeal and avoid flavored oatmeal because of the high sugar which will just make you hungry and want to eat more and gain more weight

Hi there. I just turned 40 last week and really, really down in the dumps. I'm 5'5 and 145 lbs. I was slim and trim my whole life, even after I had my babies. About 1 1/2- 2 yrs. ago I started putting on weight and getting flabby and fat pockets in my thights and stomach. I have never changed my diet. My whole life, i've been a light eater. I eat maybe 1 or 2 meals a day and very little snacks. I smoke and drink tea and pepsi. I have high b/p and clorestrol, so I eat very little fried or fatty foods. I try working out, but I have little energy. I really have no energy at all. I need to get healthy and slim again, for myself. This is really depressing to me. My husband does not help my situation at all.I don't know how to get started, what I need to get started or what to do to get started. I don't know what the problem is. Please help me.

What's your weight & height? - if you're more than 20 pounds overweight - you'll simply need to lose weight to make your arms(body) less flabby but it seems to me that as for losing weight...

Hi you seem to be amazing at what you do I need help. I get up everyday and skip for 10 mins run for 25 mins uphill, then do 30mins of weights and lunges BUT iv still got big flabby arms and Im not ripped and I have a soft stomach. I need help, my diet is spinach/ broccoli and a poached egg for breakfast, Il have raw veg, carrots, cucumbers, celery and peppers and boiled broccoli (sometimes 4 prawns & cucumbers) for lunch then drink green tea and water all day!! sometimes il have 2-3 almonds.. why am I not toning up, infact I feel flabby, Im a slim girl but my arms look flabby, please please tell me what Im doing wrong, I also tak Vic, Flaxseed and seleniun everyday..I dont eat much..can you put a diet together for me that I can follow, il follow it to a T..your fab by the way London loves you...am I not eating enough..I dont eat much at all!!! If you DONT like RAW fruits & vegetables which are good for keeping you full then...

Hi, I have been fat my whole life, since I was like 3 or 4 and I can't even remember when I thought I was skinny or anything. Well, I've tried practically everything, and I've never been able to hold on to anything because they starve me and I have a hectic schedule. I'm 13, I weigh 130(and that's even worse because I just lost 8 pounds and went to 125 then gained it back, I've never weighed over 120 and I'm so ashamed of myself), and I'm about 4'11 or 5'0 because I got taller. Well, I need something that will keep me full and it's hard for me especially because I don't like any vegetables, don't tell me to try anything because my whole life I don't like it AT ALL. So, you see my situation I have here, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me, we're going to be having Picture Day soon, and I don't want to be remembered as the girl who had all skinny friends and never even tried to lose weight. :-(

I am 17,5'1 and am currently 137 pounds. I workout for an hour every day and do not eat sugar and not many grains.I became really thin 2 years ago and had to gain some weight ... I have not been able to loose since and have only gained. With limited workout time , what should I do?

Loosing weight may take time if not done in a right way. Your body acts naturally if it needs a healthy exercise and workout. Taking medicines and vitamins while working out has different effect too.

I have degenerative disk disease and find it increasingly harder to exercise..how can I lose serious weight if I'm not able to do cardio?..seems like walking sometimes sends me into a few days of pain after the walking...help!!!

I'm 17 years old and I am 5'4. I weigh 134 pounds at the moment. Last year my lowest weight was 120 pounds and I would like to be at that weight again. I try to eat healthy, but sometimes I cheat. I usually go to the gym at least 5 times a week, and at the gym, I run on the treadmill for a half hour, or do a mix of bike/treadmill, but I always do cardio for at least a half hour. I also lift weights and alternate upper body/legs every other day. I'm trying very hard to lose these 15 pounds, but I have a little trouble with what exactly I should be eating. I like carbs a lot, but I know i should be eating more protein. Can you give me some ideas of what I could eat for breakfast and lunch? Thank you!

If you're overweight, been on a very bad diet, and been inactive... You may lose up to 10 pounds your first week if you eat raw figs and any other raw fruits & veggies and YES...

Eat raw figs or any other raw fruits & veggies with all your meals and it would be best if you ate them before your meals to help suppress your appetite so you'll lose weight faster

Depending on you fitness level - you may be able to get decent results using the weights you have so for no...

Just try to do the best you can with what weights you have and without going to the gym but...

You can also do this chest exercise here without weights to help reduce chest fat and when you do that exercise - try to do it in a push up position if you can -but like I always say...

Getting rid of fat is mainly due to diet and exercise that gets your heart rate up for at least 20 minutes

Adrian, thanks for answering -- I appreciate it! See, I have a lot of unwanted tissue around my breasts (pretty much near the shoulders from where the breast and arm pits meet), and I have puffy nipples. I have dumbbells that are decently heavy (not sure how much they weigh), yet have no other weights than that. I don't have access to a gym since the nearest one is miles and miles away. Any recommendations on what I should do?

You caught me off guard because I've never heard the term "de-fat liver" so I did some real quick research and found this here that may help you but basically it says to de-fat your liver...

"Take soya isoflavines, which contain inositol and choline and help de-fat the liver. Turmeric is good too."

Adrian, is it okay to eat the Lean Cuisine and Smart One (weight watchers) dinners since most of them are between 200-310 calories. I am currently weighing 154 at 5'2 and would like to get down to 130. I am carrying most of my weight in the stomach and thighs. Wasn't sure if eating those dinners would be good for losing weight.

It depends - does your fruit smoothies have a lot of added sugar to them and do you plan on drinking them a lot?

If the is YES & YES then NO - you need to avoid or limit these if you're trying to lose weight

The figs and other fruits & vegetables work by cleansing your body so basically they make you have more bowel movements to clean pounds of waste out of your body an if your diet is actually good right now meaning you eat mostly weight foods then...

Figs and other colon cleansing methods may not make you lose a lot of weight real fast so really...

this 10 pound trick only works for people who've previously eaten bad foods and...

You don't need to go crazy and eat lots of figs - Just 1-to-2 a day should do the trick

Hi,
I am wondering; Is it possible to eat to much fruit? I would say almost 50% of my diet is made up of fruit and veggies (ok i am exaggerating but you get the point). The problem is that I am not losing weight. I run 60 min every day and eat lots of fruit.

The key is to eat more fruits and veggies period - I say "2" becasue usally 2 whole raw fruits or veggies is all you need to suprress hunger long enough for you to lose weight fast and maybe 10 RAW baby carrots would equal 1 whole carrot but as I said - It's all about eating more fruits and veggies and not worrying too much about how many and believe me...

Once you start eating more RAW fruits and veggies - your weight loss will be SO EASY.

So, as far as the vegetables go, would you say it's okay to eat like 1/2 a cucumber before each meal? or do I have to eat two different kinds? and then, how much of it, like a whole green pepper, half? how big of an apple? how many baby carrots, that kind of thing. Thanks so much!!!

1. don't drink enough water (and you're drinking enough) and/or...

2. If you eat too much salt
