Can you just do both? For example on my chest/tricep day I do chest press first, tricep dip next, then shoulder press and then i do the isolation exercises (pec dec fly, tricep extension and front raise). I always lift as much as I can for the compound exercises first so I don't see the problem?

YES

you can do iso after the compound exercises or...

do iso first to pre-exhaust

Multi-joint compound exercises are awesome for stimulating muscle growth. I see so many guys performing isolation exercises and expecting to build muscle mass, but it's just not the best way to go. I wish everybody would just get over the wimpy isolation stuff and start squatting already!

i was 10st when i started working out 6 months ago now i am 12st. i have noticed my arms and pecs are not getting any bigger, and i only have a 4 pack. the problem is my muscle is not looking really ripped, i think it might be my diet

please give me some advice
