Okay, what if your a women who tends to built too much muscle and, it looks too bulky? How would I get more lean on my calve area. I'm scared of building more mass to my calves. They are big enough. Thank you so much.

Hi Adrian,

i am 25 years old and my wt is 176lbs , my target is to achieve 121lbs , but I dont know how to start to achieve it fast. I have developed a low self esteem due to this and lost my confidence. Please suggest what to do .

hello! Im a 21 year old female whose been trying to gain weight for a while now. I was 99 lbs at a height of 5'3. Three months later im weighing in at 114lbs..my problem now is that all of the weight is going to my arms and stomach which really disappoints me because my main target was my lower body. My legs are extremely thin and i want fuller hips. Can u please tell me what can i do to make the weight go down to my legs please thank you

Thanks for the advice. I don't have access to swimming pool and all other outdoor exercise. Besides riding bike, what other exercise i can do inside the gym where i can slimmer the calve and lose weight at the same time?

i cant think of anything right now but basically yopu needd to be creative and think of things you can do where you can lose weight without running or jumping.

Hi Adrian,
I used to have a pretty slim calf. However, after i started my weight loss program, i run fast, jump robe, do jumping jacks and eliptical machine in high resistance, i did lose weight all over my body but my calves are getting bigger and stronger which i don't want. What can i do to make my calves get slimmer? I did read some article that says not to do uphill running or high resistance eliptical machine for smaller calves. But there are another articles that ask to do these. So i'm very confused. Thanks.

You actually need to limit your running, walking and jumping workouts which all contribute to your bigger calf size so you need to stop doing these for a while to allow your calf muscles to get smaller from non-use but...

try riding a bike or swimming which does not heavily involve the calves

Hey Adrian, i have the worst time walking in heels. I know that they say heels hurt all females, but i cant even stand the pain, even from moderate sized heels. will strengthening my calves help?

Hi Adrian,

For as long as I can remember, I have a an area of my stomach that I just can't seem to get flat. It's not that bad, but it bothers me. I always joke and call it a "dino belly" because its kinda round. I am a petite girl and very thin. I started working hard on my abs in the gym and I see improvement but not so much in the area that is bothering me. It's my mid to lower abdomen. Do you have any suggestions for me??

Also, do you know of any way to get rid of underarm skin/flab?? Like my skin is bunchy over my bra under my arms.

Hi Adrian,

I wanted to make my calves smaller. I looked at this video, but I wanted to know if there was more I could do. It's fat in my calves. I have an elliptical and a stationary recumbent bike in my house. Are there any settings (resistance/incline) that are more beneficial to make my calves smaller? I would really appreciate it if you could give me tips on the settings of each machine, for instance high resistance, low incline, etc....

Usually...

people don't carry lots of fat in their calves - are you sure it isnt mostly muscle or maybe even you might be bloated...

Is your diet WAY high in carbs, salt and sugar. - this could cause swelling in calf area but...

if it is fat in calves then lsoing weight in general all over will slim down calves and NO...

doing the bike in a special way won't work - youll need to go on a diet + exercise plan to lose weight all over

Hi Adrian,

I lost 159 pounds and I was left with excess skin everywhere! I recently had the excess skin removed on my abdomen. I plan to have excess skin removed on my thighs this summer. But, I need to lose as much fat in my calves and thighs first before doing so. Any suggestions? Thanks so much!
