Go thru the arm exercises here to see which ones will not aggravate your neck.

I know some of those should help you

Hey, Adrian. Wonderful info you offer here. My concern is that I have small, lean arms BUT I'd like to tone, namely my triceps. I notice it moves a bit when I wave but shouldn't or doesn't that muscle a move a little when we wave, even when we're tone? I was underweight for a very long time so I'm just getting used to having some "meat" on my bones. The right tricep is firmer (probably due to me being right-handed) than the left which is not flabby but I can grab onto it and jiggle it a bit.

Overall, I want to be toned but SOFT. Thank you in advance.

Cindy,

If your arms are already pretty lean & toned then and if you don't want them getting any bigger then you really don't need to do any exercises but...

If you have fat on your arms that you need to get rid of to make your arms skinny then keep doing this exercise while losing weight see NowLoss.com on how to lose weight to make arms skinny - You see...

if your arms had fat on it and if you built muscle then the only reason why your arms got bigger is because you built toned muscle without losing any arm fat

I tried to lift the weight 3-5lbs for building muscle and I wanted to get a small arm. However, instead of getting small, my arms get larger. So I stopped doing this. Can you give any suggestion on this?

Sarah,

Any type of dumbells will be fine and the weight should be the weight you can handle but generally 5-to-10 pound dumbbells is a good start but eventually 5-to-10 pounds will get easy and you'll need heavier dumbells

Hi
what kind of dumbells should I buy and weight to use to tone my arms like in the demonstration of your video.
Thank You

Yes - you can do the first part of the excersise ( only up to the waist)for 3 sets of 15 reps, and the second part for the same amount but separately

Andy,

the dumells should weigh enough to make you feel the burn or feel your muscles getting a good workout by at least the 3-to-5th rep of a 8-to-12 rep set

I am researching all programs to loose weight and tone at the same time but quickly, I would like to find something that I can work out at home due to me being a single mom with no extra time. I have struggled for a year now to loose and I have, but I am not seeing the results I want. Please help me tone my whole body.....inside there is a little woman screaming to get out.
