Denise,

I admit I've heard about salt flush but I don't know too much about it but to colon cleanse...

You can simply colon cleanse by drinking more water (preferably spring water), eat more fruits and veggies, eat natural, whole, or unprocessed foods and other weight loss foods

#171
I can't afford any colon cleansing products. And if I did I wouldn't know which to get. I googled home remedies for colon cleansing and came across a 'salt water flush"...it sounds to good to be true...Have you ever heard of such thing and is it safe to try? I just can't handled not having any energy anymore and always feeling tired. I've tried everything except this.

I have lost about 95 lbs and was wondering is it still possible for me to tighten my lower stomach, I do a lot of russian twist, use abrocket etc, but still seem to have the flab there, I hear that It will not be possible because of the fact I had kids and my stomach muscles are not what they used to be, so in order to fix, I would need to have a plastic surgeon go in and tighten my muscles. is this true or do I have a chance of still tightening my muscle and have sculp abs.

susani,

This emergency diet may help you but the amount of weight you lose and how fast you lose it mainly depends on how overweight you are

Hi Adrian

I stumbled on your website by doing a search for flabby arm exercises. I am already on a weight loss program and have dropped almost 50 pounds. I have been doing some of the things you recommend already, so that made me happy, and I will be incorporating other stuff as it applies. I just wanted to tell you that I am impressed with the quality of the advice you give, covering all options, and the range of issues/topics you have information on. I like that you aren't trying to foster any one method as a "cure-all" and your common sense advice. I am very glad I found your site. Thank you for doing this.

#156

would you say losing 2 lbs on a weekly basis is healthy?

also is taking a 24 hr break between intensive excersise routines recommended?

i have 20 lbs i think i would like to lose to look thin, but i primarily want to tone down and lose fat and water weight, not muscle. for someone that is 5'2"

i have 5 weeks before an event and for me atleast 4 lbs lost will be excellent

anything i should try?

btw

my diet is totally healthy, i follow a mostly boiled vegetarian diet, low salt, no sugar(apart from what occurs naturally). no soda or chips---and tht kinda stuff. high fiber in whole grains( homemade breads and so on)

thankyou

Thanks so much for posting your videos. I've been working out for the past year and following a weight loss plan. I lost 7 inches from my waist but only 20 pounds of body weight so I'm still working. But I learned through your videos that I have been incorrectly doing some of the weight training (particularly triceps extension). I will be coming back for more. Thanks and God bless you.

I am 20 years old 181 pounds 6,0 tall and I would like to cut about 10 pounds. My major goal is to get tight abs. I would like to do this in a month or so. I recently started taking lipo 6x. Elizabeth,

Too much Alcochol (BEER) can lead to other health problems which can affect your weight loss but I think you already know that and I also think you're taking the steps or at least trying to cut down on how much you drink and...

If you're only having 1 drink a day then it really shouldn't be too much of a big deal but if your weight loss & fitness goals are not being reached in a timely fashion then you want to cut back or stop beer

#151
Hi, Well Mr. Bryant I must say thank you a thousand times reading what you have to say and watching your workout tips has helped me so much I just started following your plan and it is awesome I do however need to ask your opinion. Ok I can follow a diet and an exersice routine BUT my biggist down fall would have to be the beer I will admite that I drink a good amount of it I will even choose to drink it over eating a meal so I dont take in to many calories. Please dont take this as a drinking problem by no means is that what im trying to say I just like my beer in the evenings and on the weekends. Can you tell me if this is a big deal and how it is affecting my workout regeim.

Hi, I am turing 37. I was always into working out. I have 3 kids. For the last 2 years I have been stuck with 30 lbs and have been yo yo dieting, and not loosing any weight. For the past 3 months I have been going to kickboxing classes 6 days a week. I have seen great muscle change, but still have weight around my stomach and inner thighs. I thought these killer work outs wold help shed the fat, but it's not. I try eating healthy during the week, but I tend to splurge on weekends and drink. Have any good advice, for quick weight loss. I am very impatient.

Adrian, I just want to let you know that I am truly pleased with your website and everything that you are doing to help people. It shows that you truly have a passion for fitness and staying in shape. I myself have had to deal losing weight and maintaining my physical activity to help me from having a stroke and/or heart attack due to my health condition with my heart. I am now pursuing my own personal training certification(NFPT) and looking to obtain more in the near future. Is there any suggestion that you would have for me being a new personal trainer? I have a few exercise routines under my belt but what would be the best way for me to achieve more exercises to use that wont make me seem too predcitable. You have really been inspirational and I look forward to getting some advice from you. Please email me at kgillis07@att.net. HONEY,

You can do this butt workout instead and your butt muscles will get bigger butt if you still have some fat on your butt and if you continue to lose butt fat & overall body fat - your butt may look smaller but in this case...

Since you're doing butt exercises this time - the worst thing that'll happen is that you'll maintain what you have know since you're building butt muscle but you should see a difference in size after a while.

Hi! I just wanted to say thank you. You make it look so easy. Seeing someone so passionate about something that requires so much will power for many is very uplifting. I'm in a weight loss competition at work and was very excited my first week. I lost 2lbs. but quickly regained. I feel I can't do this. I've been yoyo dieting since I've been 13; sad to say I've been trying for almost 15 years and still haven't gotten anywhere. I know metabolisms change once you turn 30 I guess I'm just looking for a life line. You're it! Hopefuly I'll reach that goal that has seemed unatainable for so long. Please continue being an inspiration.

I have been exercising regularly now for a year and have lost a lot of inches but not z lot of weight except for 25 lbs.

I am 178 lbs and wear a size 12 which is good for me at 5'41/2! I was a 14 at 165! I have toned well and am using hand and ankle weights. The problem is that I had a hysterectomy and a total one and it slowed me down big time as well as hypoglycemia. I als have stage 3 bridging fibrosis of the liver for hepitis C I got in nursing. And.... Auto Immune Disorder from Fibromyalia along with bursitis of the hips.

I am an extremely driven person so exercise is no problem and I dance 1- 1 and and half hours a night and vigorous routines! But the weight does not come off no matter what. Is it the water? Or blood sugar? Or what is it? The liver? I admit I do not eat the 6 meals a day nor do I drink the water.

I had a 4.89 on my thyroid tests and it is considered high but they do not consider that high in their books. I eat well and no refined sugars or white stuff at all. All whole grains. But maybe I am eating mote than I know or doing something wrong?

Should I keep a diary and eat more freaquent to keep the sugars normal? I am frustrated and carry the weight in the belly of course and my legs are small and my hips too but have noticed it coming off my upper body! Any suggestions?

Thank you for your time!

If you're trying to gain muscle - Make sure you go on this diet plan here and for the first 3 weeks...

Do 5 sets of 5-to-10 reps of bench press and then after 3 weeks...

Do 7-to-10 sets of 3-to-5 reps of bench press using heavier weights of course and...

Make sure you keep a log of how much weight you're using and PLEASE make sure you have a spotter for safety and if you can't get a spotter...

Do 1 of the chest & arm exercises here

GREAT SITE- I LOVE IT!! I need your help and advice.
I’ve never really had a weight problem and have always been in good shape. I attribute this to a strong health background in Gymnastics and Swimming as a kid. At 5’9” I had always maintained my weight between 125 -135 pounds. An active lifestyle has kept me in good shape up until a couple of years ago.
Divorce and financial problems got me into an unhealthy lifestyle. 12 -18 hours a day at a desk and only eating 3-4 times a week has taken it’s toll on me!! I developed a Thyroid problem (hypothyroid) that had totally changed my body! My 25” waist is approaching 30”and I now rock the scales at 150. Somewhere along the way my ‘great ass’ fell off and took my boobs with it! Although I look like I’ve lost weight and my clothes hang on me, I’ve actually gained weight. I seemed to have lost all my muscle. My legs and arms are scrawny and my skin hangs off me like a cheap suit.
I’ve now got the thyroid problem under control and I’m eating again. I am determined to grow a new ass and try to find the lost boobs. I want my little waist back. I miss my curves!!

I spent hours going through your terrific site. I want to do it all, every day! I’ve always had tremendous energy (even through my slump) and I’m concerned I might over do it. I live in Alaska with mountains at my backdoor, so the ‘hill sprints’ are a must for me.
Please advise me on a health workout schedule. How much and how many times a week, how many reps & sets…etc.
Thank you

Hello, I just found this site, not completely certain what it is all about, so I thought I would ask anyways. First is this for the younger generations as everyone seems to be under the age of 25... If you think you can help me out, I am most grateful. I am a 39 yr old female, I weigh 298 pounds. I would love to lose at least 120 pounds ASAP, (I wait waiting for anything!). Problem: I work at home (for someone else) I do not live close to a gym, I love veggies, hate meat (on the path to vegan living), at times emotional wreck and for the most part do use food for comfort. I used to be very active and solid, able to move very easily and full of energy. Now I am tired all the time, and hardly do anything physical (not old age I hope...) Started this job 5 yrs ago and sit alot. No incentives what so ever, and no chance for advancements. Help, I am so physically, and emotionally "out of shape" (understatement) Please if you can help me out, I will be forever indebted...Thank you, Tracey

Hello I just found your youtube videos and I love them. I will be using them in the future. I started at 459 and now 385, it took 3yrs to do that. My knees hurt at times and squats kill them. I walked several times a week to lose that but I have not been walking. I want to work out in the house.

Andrew,

Follow this diet plan for burning fat & building muscle but let me warn you...

Although you will burn fat & build muscle with this plan - you won't burn MAXIMUM FAT & GAIN MAX Muscle by doing this plan so in my opinion...

It's better to focus on gaining muscle first and then focus on losing weight or burning fat

#82
Adrian,
Very, very comprehensive site. Just stumbled across it and I'm sure I'll be surfing for a while, but I have a question for you. I'm 5'11", 156 lbs. About 12.7% body fat. My goal (like everyone) is to cut my body fat and pack on some more muscle. What's the most important thing to follow as far as nutrition to reach this goal? I've been trying to east like 6 meals a day, but not quite sure of the Protein/Fat/Carb ratio or calories.

Huda,

Please realize that since you only weigh 60kg (132 pounds) - you're not overweight and going down to 45kg (99 pounds) will make you underweight so it's going to be harder for you to lose weight (since you're not overweight) and the only think I think of to help you is to have you read How underweight people can lose their last 10 pounds but even still...

I think at your current weight and height - you already look good considering the fact you had a baby and please don't feel bad about yourself because...

It's lots of women out there who desperately want to be 132 pounds and go here to get rid of your flabby arms and go here for facial toning exercises

Any chest exercises (that're on my site or not) will help maintain and/or tone up chest area

To avoid getting big chest muscles - avoid the real heavy weights

I think for your goals you should foucs on doing 1-2 chest exercises in the same workout once a week and...

To do those 1-2 chest exercises for 4 sets of 8-12 reps and...

Try to do a different chest exercise every 2-3 weeks to keep seeing results

here's a quick link to all my chest exercises:

Adrian,

Thanks so much for responding, and sorry for the confusion!

I was thinking of "wider" and bigger -- still feminine, as opposed to being too muscular up top.

I was picturing Mocha Lee's frame (she has that widened, "expanded" look)
http://www.mochalee.net/ photo_ga...oto_gallery.htm , but I'm really curious about Ki-Toy Johnson's
http://www.kitoyjohnson.net/
upper body workout. I know Ki-Toy wasn't always built that way because I recently saw an old photo of her (which I desperately tried to find for you) when she was very slender. In her words, "skinny." She says she's very dedicated to her fitness regime (as you can see).

If you don't mind one more photo, here's Renita Harris
http://good-times.webshots.com/ p...41769rtRbpnpcps, who used to weigh 200 pounds before transforming herself. This is one of the more decent photos of her that I felt was appropriate to link to. She's very "lifted," shall I say, and she's in her 40's. Also an ideal size.

Thank you again, Adrian. I need to tone first, but I've been concerned about possibly doing the wrong exercises and losing my shape.

Greetings, Adrian ~~r
I am so fortunate to have found your website.

I am especially grateful that you address women with concerns about a sagging chest area. (Particularly those as young as 30-something.) I will soon start body-building and would like to know this:

I've noticed some women body-builders flatten out but others seem to really expand their chest area. Could you please explain this and advise which exercises/machines can help the chest look more expanded, if not only your suggested exercises demonstrated on this site?

Thank you so much.

WOW! This has been the best site I have come across since I have "modified my eating habits and lifestyle" - I do not call it a diet! Hello Adrian, I been following your fat loss plan and it has been working GREAT for me. I love the Calorie Calculator feature, now I'm all into not exceeding my calories and eating the right kind of foods. My question is, is the plan as effective if instead of splitting the meals into six I split them into 4 or 5? Would it work the same? Because with my schedule I would be eating meal #6 at around 10pm and I go to bed around 11 so I dont want to eat at that time because #1 It's too late and #2 because just a few weeks into following your plan I just dont feel hungry at night anymore, which is great because I was a very late night binger but the downside is that I'm consuming a lot less calories than I should be because I end up skipping meal #6 or sometimes both 5 and 6 and I dont want to hit a plateu. Thats why I was thinking of splitting my meals into either 4 or 5, what do you think?

Hi Adrian!
It's Tammy again.
Here's the problem I'm having! I'm now back to 126lbs. This is what I've been most of my life! The diets are easy for me because I love fruits and veggies and I'm not big on over eating! But, I still have a some lower ab flab and inner thigh flab that just don't want to go away? I've been doing your exercises and it just don't want to budge! I asked my boyfriend, how can you lose weight and still keep the fat in these areas? And he said that I was losing muscle tissue! Is this true? And what can I do or take to correct this problem? Thanks! Tammy

HOW DO I MANAGE WEIGHT LOSS WHEN WORKING 7PM TO 7 AM? MY SCHEDULE IS REALLY MESSED UP AND I DON'T GET ALOT OF SLEEP. SOMETIMES I AM UP FOR 24-36 HOURS AT A TIME.

Hello, I just ran across your site and really like the activity calculator. Thanks for putting that on here. I weigh 265 pounds and need/want to loose at least 140 pounds. Have started on Weight watchers, but was wondering what is the best way to loose the weight faster. My fiance said he wants to be able to pick me up and we will be married in 6 months. He is away overseas right now and would love to surprise him with my weight loss. I know I wont be able to loose all of the weight in that time but any advice and help would be much apreciated. Thanks
Melissa
