How to Eat What You Like
|
Basically, the amount of weight you lose on a diet is
equal to the amount of time you’re willing to put up with the diet’s
silly restrictions.
Here are 3 reasons why you should run when you here the word DIET.
Reason #1 to run away from diets
The worst part about being on a diet is the period right after you
finish the diet. Most people tend to gain all their weight back and
more after a diet because they go back to eating even more of the
regular foods they liked in the first place.
Reason #2 to run away from diets
Being on a strict diet for any period of time only increases your cravings for the food you loved in the first place. It increasing your cravings to a point where you overeat so much that you gain weight.
Reason #3 to run away from diets
Diets slow your metabolism down by making you lose muscle. SLOW Metabolism = YOU WILL GAIN WEIGHT JUST BY LOOKING AT FOOD....increase your metabolism. Your metabolism is your body’s fireplace.
This fireplace will burn all that ugly body fat off you if operate it correctly.
Here are 2 simple ways to increase your metabolism:
That’s right. Instead of only eating up to 3 big meals a day try eating 6 smaller meals a day. Remember your body’s metabolism is like a fireplace.
Think about this way: when you eat 1-3 big meals
you are basically putting a real big log on your fireplace and
anytime you put too much on a fire it goes out.
When you feed yourself small meals spaced about 2-3 hours apart
during the day you are putting small pieces of wood on your
fat-burning fireplace. These small meals keep your fireplace burning
throughout the day.
What happens when you don’t put any wood on a fireplace? It goes out right? The same thing happens when you eat less than 3 meals a day.
Waiting 4-6 hours between meals is too long, to keep your fireplace going remember to eat SMALL meals every 2-3 hours.
Did you know just 1lb of muscle burns off a pound of fat every 70 days!
Think about this for a minute...
If you were to add 3 lbs. of muscle (yes, you would gain weight) you could sit back, do nothing and effortlessly lose 16 lbs (all of it 100% disgusting body fat) a year.
Add 5 lbs. of muscle and you'll lose 26 lbs of FAT each year doing absolutely nothing at all.
You see diets slow down your metabolism by making you lose muscle and when you add muscle you increase your metabolism.
Here's another way to look at it...Each pound of muscle you gain burns an extra 50 calories
So if you were to add 5lbs of muscle you would burn an extra 250 calories a day. that means you can eat an extra candy bar or soda without fearing that you'll gain weight.
What are some easy ways to build muscle?
Building muscle doesn’t mean you have to start Bench pressing, squatting, or buying fancy equipment. To build muscle you can start off doing simple bodyweight exercises like pushups, crunches, and bodyweight squats.
All it takes is 10-20min a day 2-3 times a week with weights or your own
bodyweight.
Don’t worry about what the scale says when you put a few pounds of muscle.
For example if you weigh 150 pounds and put on 5lbs of muscle...You will of course now weight 155 lbs...but after a year you will weigh 129 lbs after your extra f muscle burns off 26lbs of disgusting body fat.
Good-looking muscle weights more and is more dense than ugly body fat. Basically 5lbs of FAT in your arms will make them jiggle when you wave at people and 5lbs of muscle will make your arms look muscular and not jiggle.
If you put on five pounds of muscle it will seem like you lost 5-10lbs.
**Bonus tip Take a 5-10 minute walk after each meal**
Well it doesn't have to be a walk, but any activity will do
The reason you should do this is because it increase the amount of calories you burn during digestion.
You don't have to so something after all your meals...I would start off by doing something for 10 minutes only after 3 of your 6 meals. This way you'll get in the recommend 30 minutes of daily activity you need to stay healthy.
