Basically - any food that doesnt cause an extreme rise in insulin is a good weight loss food
Gaining FAT is due in part to the hormone insulin and overeating and...
eating sugars, snacks and processed foods cause extreme rises in insulin because the insulin has to put the excess SIMPLE carbs/sugars from snacks somwhere and so it stores it as fat.
The more complex the carbs or lower GI like you said prevents insulin or keeps it in check preventing fat gain and basically...
If you ate more complex or low gi foods then you can really lose weight without counting cals but...
You'll get full eating so quick by eating healthy - you wont overeat either so YES...

I was looking at the list of weight loss foods and i was surprised to see potatoes listed. I thought that potatoes, while very healthy, were not suited to weight loss because of their high glycemic index. But i looked on the internet and i saw that some places recommended them as well. Protein, Whey Protein or any protein will not help you gain muscle mass unless you eat MORE and lift weights to gain muscle.
If you are not lifting HEavy weights and doing low reps + eating more then you won't gain a lot of mass and...

eat lots of raw veggies (and dont count the veggie calories) to get full and add some oatmeal or other complex carbs to fill you up and of course...

I looked at the 51 high protenin, low fat food list and see that seafood/salmon are part of it. However, when i check the calorie for a salmon fillet for instance, its calorie is really high though. Even if i eat only 2 oz, that already takes up more than half of my 210 calorie per meal quota. And 2oz of fish is just a very small portion that won't make me full. If that's the case, is it still good to eat that?

I'm very frustrated about the eating the weight loss food. I cut down white bread and grab a multigrain bagel which i think is low calorie and it's multigrain. However, i checked that just one bagel has 360 calorie and the fat calorie is 45. That's just a little bit better than a butter croissant. Im 24 about to be 25yrs old. Im only 5'2 and I weigh about 230lbs.I have two children. One is 4 yrs old and the other is 7 months and both were by cesarean. I'm 18 years old and about 5'9 and weigh abou 56 kg. Thats somhow supposed to be a good weight but its actually not.
I may not weigh much but I really have some serious problem areas.
I have soo much fat stored at my stomache that I really feel ashamed for it. Plus I'm over all very flabby and untrained. ( my belly never disappeared completly even in the time where I did tae bo every second day ... I REALLY want a great stomache!)
The thing is: I broke my knee 2 years ago and its still kinda enflamed on the inside.

I've been a raw foodist for two years and even did a water fast for a month last year but I cannot lose weight. (After the month water fast, I lost 9 lbs only... over the past two years I have lost 25 lbs but that was really only the first year. This past year I've stayed completely stable weight-wise.)

before I give you any advice - I think you'll benefit much more by asking your coaches & the atheltic trainers what's the best training goals you should go after in preparation for football and if they suggest you get bigger, stronger, and faster + lose fat but can't really give you any direction...

You can still eat normally but in your case...
You would have to reverse your eating schedule from that of a normal person who has a day job so for example for you...
9:30pm would be your breakfast
12:30 would be meal #2
3:30am would be meal #3
6:30 am would be meal #4
9:30am would be last meal
and you would of course fit in some time to exercise.

If you're trying to lose weight then forget about iced tea and Drink green tea instead to burn fat and I would try to drink at least 70 ounces of ice cold water everyday and as far as milk goes...
It's dairy products like milk, cheese, and yougurt that help you lose weight and you don't need to JUST drink milk or go crazy & eat dairy products - Just use them as part of your weight loss diet.
