i'm in nursing school and need a really simple plan. I had bypass surgery 10years ago and gain all my weight back. why do I need 1600-2200 calories to lose weight at 231lbs.

that's just an estimate (a good estimate) based on your weight, height and lifestyle and you could be stuck at 231 due to not eating enough (slow metabolism) or eating too much to gain fat but generally...
start off with the estimate and if you are happy with the results - lower your calories by -250 as long as you dont go under 1000-1200 cals
i am 36 years old and need to know how do you afford to eat healthy when your poor ,only make around 15,000 a year.thank you for your time.
Truthfully -
I dont know but I can tell you this - I DID IT WHEN I WAS POOR
and you know why...
i didnt let that stop me and you shouldnt either - you have to find a way and once you decide that you do have to find a way - yOU WILL!
Maybe you have to budget better, make sacrfices and I dont know if you have kids or other bills that makes this more of a "challange" but believe me...
If you want to look good naked - nothing will stop you to find a way
